    1. hi, you can try to find the author’s weibo if they wrote their id on their bulletin page. if there isn’t any, you can attempt to search their id on weibo directly (add 晋江 to be more accurate). you can’t contact them through jjwxc and not all of them have weibo but if they do use social media platforms, it’s usually weibo that they use. if you have trouble with this, you can let me know the author and i will find their page for you.

i don’t think jjwxc blocks country ip. if you have trouble creating an account (not able to receive verification email, etc), try using another type of email. gmail should work!

      1. Thank you very much for answering me, there is a novel that I would like to bring to my language, so I want to ask the author if he gives me permission to translate the novel. The author’s name is: 暴躁 的 螃蟹. thanks for your help💓

      3. Thanks for the information, anyway I will try to ask you if you would let me translate it, it is a very nice novel that you wrote. (Well, for my concept)
It strikes me that you say that the authors under Jjwxc are likely to reject such requests. Why?
And thank you very much for helping me and answering my questions.

      4. because their work are legally licensed under jjwxc. also unless you are purchasing the rights to legally translate, it is unfair to the readers who are supporting the author directly on jjwxc. readers who are reading the original novel pay for what they are reading and it really doesn’t cost much. as for weibo, they allow sign ups via mobile number. you can give it a try!

      5. Translation rights? How much would something like that cost? I suppose that as a whole work would be a little expensive. Although it does not cost much I doubt that they would read it, because not everyone understands Chinese (I read it with translator pages) so it would be difficult for them to buy something they do not understand and I mean to translate it into Spanish.
Thanks for the help and suggestions, I really didn’t know how to start to contact the author, so I found your blog.

      6. i’m not sure about the cost but it’s not low. i know there are 2 licensed translators for english translation now, one is a hardcopy publisher (but they haven’t published the english versions yet), and the other is chaleuria who does the publishing in the form of ebooks if i’m not wrong. chaleuria once tried to start a kickstarter to purchase the license for a jjwxc novel but it had to be cancelled in the end.
it’s like scanlation for manga. it isn’t legal and if the publisher decides to take legal actions against fan translations, they can.
i do know of readers who are reading the novels on jjwxc using web translator and leaving authors with english comments though. not many, but there are people doing so (like the reader and author i shared about on my second last post). it will be good if as the work is being spread to more readers, more people will support the authors directly too‎|•’-‘•)و
